Tirana is considered the economic and cultural hub of Albania, due to its significant location and importance in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, arts, international trade, education, service, research and healthcare.
Tirana is the Albanian capital and its located in the center of the country surrounded by mountains and hills, with Dajt on the east and a slight valley opening on the northwest, overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance.
Due to its location within the Tirana plain and the close proximity to the Adriatic Sea, the city is influenced by a Mediterranean seasonal climate.
The Trail Running to Dajti Mountain from Tirana is exclusively designed to offer participants a combination of sports and adventure with the vibrant life of Tirana city.
Race Detail and description
The 2nd edition of the event is on the Sunday 5th of April 2020 Dajti Trail Running consists of three races a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K race through the spectacular trails of Dajti Mountain.
In this 2nd edition we have two new trail race that contains a good amount of physical challenge with elevation gains at approx. 1150 m for Half Marathon,490 m for 10K, and below 200 m for 5K runners. It is recommended that runners train for these elevation gains in the weeks leading up to the race.
In this page on the interative link you may find the 1/2 Marathon and 10Km route. Note that the route during the race day may have minor differences with the one published on this site. Trail Running Albania reserve the right to adapt changes in the route without prior notifiaction to the runners.

Race Check in
Saturday 04 April 2020 from 09:00 up to 20:00 in the centre of Tirana, closed to Tirana Municipality, BIB number and runner official tshirt will be distributed. The registration and the BIB number will be distributed only if you present the online purchase confirmation received in your email or easypay agent ticket confirmation.
